Default Balthazar's Touch

This is a fame-farming gimmick build. Basically you hope you have enough offense to crush the opposition before they can kill you. Much like IWAY.

The Healer is <3 for me. Healing Breeze is mostly so the Dark Aura necro doesn't die two seconds in. Vigorous Spirit is for every other character in the build. It'll allow them to tank damage a lot more.

Savage Shot is for the Ghostly Hero, can sub out for Plague Touch if desired.

Three Aegis's and two Ward Against Melees should give you enough time to drop their team.

Under ideal conditions each touch ranger can pump out 100DPS adjacent to him. These conditions are strict however:

- Smiter is spamming with Zealot's up
- Target is not kiting
- Dark Aura is on the ranger
- The ranger is doing nothing but Wallow's Bite and Touch of Agony
- Balth's Aura is up

Personally, I would switch out Escape for Offering of Blood, for the touvhers' energy management. Although, nice fame farming build, but has same flaws as IWAY, imo. But, no one will expect it.

I tried something like this once, with 4 touchers and 4 smiters.

It didn't work, but it was good fun nevertheless.

You might want to drop VS for condition removal (likely mend condition, maybe extinguish?) since the rangers don't cast any spells, and don't attack. It's 100% wasted on them. On the other hand, since the 3 smiters are spamming the hell out of heals, it would help them, and the rangers will be stealing, so won't need as muc healing. Maybe drop one of the aegis for extinguish? I duno. Nice idea though

Theres no condition/hex removals.
+ it lacks an infuser.

Well, id do something like, hmmmm

Something like the gwshack experimental triple smite, but remove bunny thumpers and add those guys.

With slight changes, it could look somewhat like this:

http://www.gwshack.us/cabdf

The only problem i encountered during this, was what skill of the tainter, replace for dark aura.
One of the smiters might

+ Yeah, i think a BiP would be cool Especially with dark aura

And personally, dont you know most touchers use staffs? with +5 energy? for more total energy? I have thrown out Savage shot , too.

When i took a look what could i replace, I couldn't think what would be better:

Barbed Signet
or
Blood Ritual

Both are good, but Barbed signet would take the place if you would replace Escape for BiP at one of the touchers. Or would just 1 blood ritual do the trick? hmmm i dunno Personally, just to make 1 smiter have his own battery (toucher) i have gave 1 blood ritual to each toucher, since barbed signet doesnt do enough damage, and besides, you got a lot of skills anyway

Calculating the damage, it would be like,

50 damage from sacrafice touches(13,(3) dps), or 100 if you have dark aura on.(26,6666666666666(a few more 6's)7 dps)
65 damage from vampiric touches. (23,636363636363(a few more 63's)64 dps)
37 dps if balthazars aura is on.
37 zealots aura damage to all adjacent foes , like each +/- 2,5 seconds PER smiter + boon prot making it a total of 148 damage per +/- 2,5 seconds just from guardians / RoF's and Spirit Bond.

I could call this a "Move or i kick your ar*e* build :P

Personally, i think this actually could work, with just a few tweaks
So dont discourage yourself

Here's a thought: Release Enchantment instead of Heal Party. With 1 monk doing all the healing, slowcast spells can be rough, and 15 energy is never fun. Not sure my suggestion makes it better, but worth playing around with.

Hmm, 3 Aegis and 2 Ward vs Melee? I thought this build was already very anti melee (reversal, guardian, AoE proximity damage...) I vote to sub out a few and throw in some Smite Hex and Convert Hexes.

The build idea has been posted ages ago

I can assure you it's fun to play though. And lovely damage

Vote 'Yes' for Bunnies© as Pets!

PS. you need just 3 touches (Agony, Wallow's Bite and Vamp touch) to keep spamming, I suggest sub one for plague touch

this build is kinda fun, but the lack of spike makes things frustrating when playing it.

and personally, i like all 3 rangers running bip so they can bip each other for energy, and bip monks. change excape to zojun's haste, drop savage for bip.
equipment is a 20/20 blood offhand and sword +5 energy 20% enchantment.

I've seen something similar, but with a Rt.

@Thom Bangalter

It's 3 touch rangers + 3 smiters, this isn't meant to be a spike at all. It's pressure, you can focus on one target and eventually the healing will collaprse since you cannot prot against this. And I prefer each toucher running OoB over BiP

the build for the r/n's should be this

1-wallow's bite
2-touch of agony
3-vamp bite
4-vamp touch
5-dodge
6-zojun's haste
7-offering of blood
8-Res sig

then spam dark aura on them and ta-da

Whirling defense is better since it's great against iway warriors, ranger spike etc.

it's pretty poor pressure imo. and bip is way better for multiple touch rangers, since you can bip each other, and everyone is running 16 expertise anyway.

and i don't like pressure without a spike. if the other team has good monks, pure pressure of this kind isn't enough.
